Shmuel in over thirty years as an acupuncturist in Israel recognised that all people and especially children don’t like needles. He set out to perfect a system to allow patients to treat themselves. “Chopsticks Acupuncture” was born.  He demonstrates the use of normal chopsticks and two slightly larger and longer sticks in a treatment on a child with Enuresis.   It is basic acupressure but can be done more effectively with the sticks being used with the therapeutic manner he describes.  His results with the child were very encouraging.  After four treatments with the chopstick s the ten year old’s problem of bed wetting the problem subsided noticeably.  The child was really happy with the treatment.  This technique is simple and has the potential to build your practice amongst young parents and their children.
