Sciatica and Low Back Pain - A guide to Practical Diagnosis and Effective Treatment
“I believe a spasm in the Psoas muscle is related to 85% of Low Back and Sciatic problems”…
A pretty strong statement, but based on 15 years at the coal face Phil Macqueen has the evidence based research to convince himself.
In this DVD he sets out to convert you to his view as well.
Phil illustrates the location of the Psoas and Iliacus muscles and describes the origins of the Genitofemoral Nerve, the Femoral Nerve and the Sciatic Nerve and describes how the interaction of these nerves and the Psoas and Iliacus muscles cause major back problems.
He explains how to diagnose what is happening from a patient’s stance and through demonstrating abdominal palpation.
When a practitioner has grasped the information Phil presents, back problems become considerably easier to diagnose and treat.
He then describes and demonstrates his treatment to release the Psoas and Iliacus muscles for Sciatica and Low Back pain based on an understanding of the anatomy of the origins and insertions of these muscles.
Comments from practitioners introduced to this concept after the seminar ranged from surprise to disbelief.
However, a week later in a follow up, comments were of surprise and relief at the good results they had achieved for their clients.
If you want a different and successful new approach to dealing with this often difficult to treat clinical presentation, this DVD is a ‘must have’.
