‘I Cant stand it Any More!' - Treating Skin Disorders

An overview of treating Skin Diseases, basic differentiation and treatment of some commonly seen skin conditions. Given time constraints, we cover the principles of treatment and use some conditions as examples of the application of principles.
Treatment is primarily herbal, with the inclusion of some acupuncture ideas.
Handouts of all the material covered are included. As well as lecture material, the techniques taught are explained and demonstrated. We break up class time with short Qi Gong practice sessions. Viewers will learn some exercises that help develop a feel for qi and promote the circulation of qi. Silk reeling concepts from Chen family Tai Ji Quan, serving tea exercises from Ba Gua Zhang, and the five phase Qi Qong from Xing Yi Quan will be covered. These can be easily learned and taught to patients.
